The NBA & MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program
Absolute authenticity. Historical sensitivity. Precise marketability. This is the credo of the NBA & MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program.
- Absolute authenticity. We've developed a system that numbers, tags, and security-codes the jerseys worn by each of the clubs participating in the program. These counterfeit-proof, security-enhanced tags are located on the front hem of each jersey. They carry unidentified covert features that can be detected only by an authorized MeiGray Authenticator. The serial number in the jersey will correspond to a database kept by the NBA & MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program. Each participating team in the program files Master Inventory Forms through the season. These forms identify the jerseys worn with regard to player, color, number, size and customizations, if any. These records are checked and cross-checked throughout the season. We're watching video of the jerseys, taking photos of the jerseys, staying on top of the jerseys to ensure that what goes on the court gets off the court ... and directly into your collection.
- Historical sensitivity. Notable achievements, record-setting performances, and jerseys worthy of display in team trophy cases will be identified and secured.
- Precise marketability. Integrity is paramount in our eyes, and every move made by the program is made with the collector in mind.
